As students move ahead, the curriculum becomes more branch-specific: for example, Computer Science covers Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Networks, and Databases, while Mechanical Engineering focuses on Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, and Manufacturing Processes. Year-Wise Curriculum
Standard AICTE 4-year (8 semesters) B.E., branch-agnostic core + electives; e.g., CSE/Mech. 160-180 credits, 50% theory/practicals.
Year 1: Basics
Engineering Math-I/II (calculus, diff eqns), Physics/Chemistry, Programming (C/Python), Graphics, Mechanics, Environmental Science, Workshop. Labs: Basic electronics, computing.
Year 2: Core Engineering
Math-III (linear algebra, transforms), Data Structures/Algorithms, Digital Logic, Thermodynamics/Strength of Materials (Mech), Circuits/Signals (EEE), DBMS. Subjects: OOP, OS basics, Fluid Mechanics (Mech)/Networks (CSE). Projects: Simple simulations.
Year 3: Advanced Tech
Control Systems/Embedded (EEE), Machine Design/Manufacturing (Mech), Software Engg/AI-ML (CSE), Structural Analysis/Hydraulics (Civil), Heat Transfer (Mech). Key: CAD/CAM, FEA, DBMS advanced, Electives (IoT, Robotics). Labs: Mini-projects.
